こちらの作品は、あんなに大きくて迫力があるのに、どこかひょうきんさを感じる可愛らしい顔や、
走りの早さや蹴りの強さが凄いのに、舞踏会に行く貴婦人の様な華やかさもどこか感じて、ギャップが色々面白いなーと思って描きました。人間でも第一印象と話すと全然違ったと思う面白い方たくさんいますよねー。その感覚を感じたのでダチョウを描きました。

This piece is so big and powerful, but has a cute face that somehow feels humorous,

and although it has amazing running speed and strong kicks, it also has a glamorous look like a lady going to a ball, and I thought the contrast was interesting. There are a lot of interesting people who are completely different from the first impression you get when you talk to them, aren't there? I drew an ostrich because I felt that way.
